How to Install IPTV on MAG Box (Infomir) in Canada

Follow these simple steps to set up IPTV on your MAG Box or Infomir device. This setup uses your MAC address and portal details from TiviLeaf.

What you need

MAG and Infomir boxes do not use traditional apps. They use a built-in portal system, so the setup is a little different from Android, Firestick, or Smart TV devices.

Your MAG Box

This guide works for most Infomir models, including the MAG 322, MAG 420, MAG 520, MAG 524, and older boxes.

Your MAC address

You need your box's specific MAC address for activation. It almost always starts with 00:1A:79.

Your portal details

After activation, TiviLeaf will send you the Portal Name and Portal URL to enter into your settings.

Step-by-step

Setup instructions

Use the steps below to activate your MAG Box and load your channels.

STEP 1

Open the settings menu

Turn on your MAG Box and wait for the main menu to load.

  • Navigate to Settings.
  • Select System Settings.
STEP 2

Connect to the internet

Your device must be online before you continue.

  • Go to Network.
  • Connect via Wi-Fi or an Ethernet cable (Ethernet is highly recommended).
STEP 3

Find your MAC address

You need this unique code to link your IPTV service.

  • Check the sticker on the back or bottom of your box.
  • Alternatively, look for Device Info inside the system settings.
  • Note: The MAC address often begins with 00:1A:79...
STEP 4

Send your MAC address to TiviLeaf

⚠️ Crucial Step: Your service must be whitelisted on our end before the portal will load.

  • Provide your exact MAC address to TiviLeaf during checkout or via support.
  • Wait for your activation confirmation email containing your Portal URL.
STEP 5

Go back to System Settings

Once TiviLeaf confirms your activation, return to the main System Settings menu.

  • Select Servers.
  • Select Portals.
STEP 6

Enter the portal name and portal URL

Use the details sent to you by TiviLeaf.

  • Portal 1 Name: Enter "TiviLeaf".
  • Portal 1 URL: Enter the exact URL provided in your email (make sure to include http:// and avoid any extra spaces).
  • Save the changes and press the back button on your remote until you reach the main screen.
STEP 7

Restart the portal

Your MAG Box needs to reload to connect to the server.

  • Select Reload Portal from the menu.
  • (Alternatively, simply unplug the power cable from the back of the box, wait 5 seconds, and plug it back in).

🎉 You're all set. Your live channels and VOD will load on the screen.

Common MAG Box setup issues

These are the most common problems people run into during activation.

I cannot find the MAC address

Check the sticker on the bottom of the device. If the sticker is missing, go to System Settings → Device Info to find it on-screen.

The portal does not open / Page Loading Error

This means the box cannot connect to our server. Double-check that you typed the Portal URL exactly right. If it still fails, contact support to ensure your MAC address was submitted correctly.

Channels are buffering

MAG boxes perform best on a wired connection. Connect an Ethernet cable directly from your router to the back of the MAG box to ensure a stable stream.
